Those who know me would describe me as the friendly, outgoing type who knows how to carry on a conversation. I'm a Navy brat, turned Navy veteran, turned Navy spouse, so I give credit to my nomadic life for my ability to connect with the people I meet.
My love for photographs is rooted deep. My dad was never not taking photos and videos of us in what was a successful attempt at preserving our childhood memories, with albums and albums full of stills that I used to flip through frequently. When I had my own children, I wanted to preserve the memories for them, as well, so I purchased my first camera. That is when my love for photographs turned into a love for capturing them. The artistic outlet photography allowed me was something I didn't even know I needed, and now I'll never be able to live without.
I love a classic posed photo where everyone smiles for the camera; but I also believe that the best photos are the ones that make you feel something when you look at them, and that is done by capturing the raw, natural moments. That said, I'd love to be the most un-annoying fly on your wall in order to do so!
